You know I'll be adding you to my prayers! My dad had cancer a few years back, a possitive attitude plays a HUGE part in recovery, as well as support from friends and family. That, and never give up, and never take no for an answer. The first Dr. we saw told him that he had better get his affairs in order, he had just a few months left. Our son Rich had come into contact with some top people at Southwestern here in Dallas, and he went to them. They suggested a top cancer Dr. at Southwestern, who got my dad right in, ran the tests the other Dr. had said he wouldn't even survive, and opperated on him w/in a week. As I say, this is a few years ago-and no sign of the cancer coming back at all. The first Dr. had wanted to take a wait and see attitude, the second was agressive about getting it out of there NOW--I think if we had settled for the first, Dad wouldn't be with us now.

Hang in there and feel free to come to the group when you need support-that's the big thing-don't think you have to go it on your own!
