  • Very sad day

I'm sure that 99% of you know that Phyllis is my wife. Well they found some cancer cells in Phyllis's test yesterday. They tell us it's like having a 5 step staircase and she's on the 2nd step. Hopefully with all your prayers she can beat this. The game seems so trival now but I'm hoping that everything will turn out ok. She's a 100 times tougher then me when it comes to this stuff. Say a prayer for her and thanks for listening to me in our time of need.

        Sal and Phyl,

I'm so sorry to hear that. I will keep both of you in my prayers. Stay strong and never give up.

Favorite Trick's case for Horse of the Year in 1997 --

"He lacks the physical stature of Easy Goer. He hasn’t the sheer brilliance of Seattle Slew. And his pedigree is hardly cut from the same royal cloth as Secretariat’s. Despite these "inadequacies", Favorite Trick, a truly special Thoroughbred, has accomplished more than any two-year-old colt in the forty-five years since Native Dancer won all nine of his races en route to the 1952 championship."

Consider it done from my end Sal. My wife is 1 of 12 brothers and sisters. When they get on something like this, they amaze me at the stuff they have pulled off thru their power of prayer. They will be on this one like flies on stink!

            Good Luck!

                Sal,

I can honestly say i know what you are feeling, my wife's mum went under the knife last night australian time to have a malignant cancer growth removed from her breast, This is just 5 weeks after she had one removed from her brain. She is a very tough woman just like your wife.

                Hope all goes well

Sorry to hear the news Sal.

Many years back, cancer cells were found in my wife's body. People continually said they are praying for her. Through a miracle, the cancer cells disappeared, with no treatment/drugs at all. Doctors were amazed. Nothing developed out of it, and to this day, she is doing good.

With praying D/D members/friends/family/etc, "We WILL believe in a miracle" !!

From my household, "Our Love and Prayers go out to Phyllis & You" !!
