Race Sorting for Race Entry & Bute Med

Hello All,

There may be a problem with the sort feature used for horses as a saved preference for race entry. The far right side listed race types is not accurate. I suggest every uncheck the races on the right side until further notice. The Surface and distance are correct for Cal & Bel. This issue has been sent to programming.

Vet Meds
For the time being I recommend everyone check the bute option regardless of what the vet recommends. Bute can be misleading. There may be an ideal distance that the vet says bute is not good for but bute may be good at other distances. Bottom line is I recommend working with bute on and off.

Re Bute:

Bob, I think a good idea would be to set up unlimited training for a finite amount of time e.g. 24 hours, 48 hours etc. so that all horses irrespective of whether they have had a start or not can be worked to try to isolate what distances a horse performs best with bute or not. A week lead time would allow stables to prepare for that unlimited training.

For example "Starting midnight Feb 24 unlimited training will be available for ALL horses for 24 hours/48hours to help stables determine if their horses perform better using Bute at various distances" Something like that

Excellent Idea Norm. I will pick a date here quickly and reset meters and also unlock unlimited training so stable may be able to retest bute meds

Bute is definitely a distance thing, and the vet does not tell which distance. but likely correct for a limited distance horse. Difference story when the horse has broad distances. Looking forward for more on this.

Race sorting still has a bug when it comes to selecting multiple categories. It seems allowance overrides everything else. If I check both allowance and $20+ claiming it only brings up the allowance races. If I check both allowance and stakes it only brings up the allowance races.

These are categories a horse could overlap so it would be helpful if it would bring up both when both are checked.
