It was a long journey for these juveniles to get the necessary points to make it into the big money finals. Amazing job by the connections to get to this point. #4 ASSASSIN'S CREED
Love the breeding for 12 panels on her and she get's back to her best distance tonight after running a nice 3rd in last week's Champ Classic Conso. Her last start at 12F was impressive as she swept by the field from the back of the pack and stopped the clock a tick under 2:32. A race similar to that one should find her back in the winners circle. Let's make her my top selection in a salty field.
#11 STANDARD BEARER
Pace a plenty on this one and likely sees the lead once again as many in this field are void of early speed. Not a big fan of her post, but she shouldn't be hung out wide for very long if the pace goes how I think. Ran 2nd to my top choice before, and may take this field a long way if the pace is to her liking.
#10 BILLY GOATS GRUFF
One run deep closer reunites with jockey who provided her best trip and last win at tonight's distance. Will be pace dependent and needs her best closing kick to get on the podium tonight. Outside post shapes her trip from the back. Should be flying late.
Dark Horse Pick:
#3 TAYLORGOTALKEDINTOIT
Was a very nice 2nd in the Classic Champ Finals from the same difficult 3 post she has tonight. She needs to sit back tonight and position herself in the 2nd flight to hit the board. If she has the right trip setup we could see a dual champ placed filly.
