Congratulations to Dan of Foggydan Farms with his big win last night with WAR BULLY in The Red Rose Oaks and 3rd and final leg of the Triple Crown! With pilot J. Rose the 3 YO filly was taken back early along the fence in 8th, steadily advanced outside of foes approaching the top of the lane, came up to tackle BRAS D'OR 100 yards from the winning line and was ridden out much of the best.
Congrats to Shannon of Martime Madness on the 2nd place finish with BRAS D'OR. This filly reserved early in 5th from the two-path, advanced on the tiring pair of leaders heading into the final bend, took command from those two drawing clear in deep stretch, later confronted by WAR BULLY on her outside, put to an all out drive but could not match strides with that one holding the place.
Closing belatedly between rivals for third was FF FIRST OFF who was moving well late on the class hike. It appears we may see the Foggydan Farms create filly against homebreds again in the near future.
