Francam...thats not an amateur cam website is it? Woodville is a sucker for those sites! Welcome to our wondeful community! Competition is fierce, but fun and after your first trip to the winner circle, you will feel what its like to own a real racehorse!

No, Francam has nothing to do with amateur cameras, lol. It is a combination of my first and last names- Frank Campbell.

Frank, I wpuld start scoping the low level claimers 2000/5000 and find a good 2 or 3 year old horse that you can work with in addition to your freebies. Look for one who has guts and can win. A few tips. This game is constantly evolving. Breeding is key. Dont be shy to pay for proven breeders. At first you dont have any in house breeders, so shop and build your stock through proven studs/mares. Always look for good mares to bring to your stable to breed with. You can often find decent ones with good deep rooted pedigree for 10-30 bucks. You can also use public mares, but i like to buy the mares(you get 12 breeds with them) and just pay for public studs. Always take your newborns to the vet. When you time trial new horses, use a standard weight and jockey(most use 118 for fillies and 120 for colts, or 118 for all) this way when you test new equipment you will have a consistant base to compare your times. Also take in considerastion when testing that the meter numbers will effect the horses times. I would look on the guide for new players by Ryan and look at how to train horses to get the maximum numbers. I never race a horse that doesnt have 100 for fitness and all other meters above 95. If you have any specific questions, dont hesitate to ask

Beware of entering your horses in low level claimers as many newbies have lost good horses to established stables on here.

In simple terms, claiming races make your horses for sale for whatever price the claiming race is. 5000 claimer means your horse is for sale for 5 bucks. Make sure you know the value of your horse before you enter in one of these races. There have been horses on here that have privately sold for over 100 dollars. If you have a good one, it should not be in claiming races
