There is a wealth of information scattered throughout The Forum. A good place to start is the 'Help For New Members' category and the 'Help' tab located on your main stable page and the Chat page which is attended by a few experienced managers while the races are running each day.

The best advice I can give you is to have patience, read as much as you can and ask lots of questions. As far as racing goes, most have found claiming a few cheap horses initially to see how established stables set their horses via jockey selection/instruction/class/distances/etc. is valuable. Unfortunately, we all don't get a champion first off, maybe you will be one of the 'chosen' ones.

dont pay any attention to mine or texaseast post, as we have had too much oozo. lol, can't spell, cant train, but i drink really well. GL and i'll give you free breed to my only private mare, Lightning In A Bottl, yea i spelled that right. she's only a 5k claimer but ran better than she showed and is better than most mares on public breeding.

i dont know much about this game. only been here 4 months. but i know this, go straight to 2k claimers and claim one that has at least won a race. 1:12 aint gonna get it done unless you run the freebies. there are decent rewards in the 2k claimers if you study thier historys.

The best advice i can give you is play the game and have fun and dont take it to serious remember its a game.
