I feel beat up lately and I just dont even feel like training my horses. I spend so much time doing other things for the site, and I really dont even train half my horses anymore. Therefore I am putting alot of horses way under value in claimers this week. Trying to make things smaller, and more managable. I cant win to save my life on here, and I am probably the worst trainer on the site. I try my best to make things fun but I get stressed when I get a lot of heat. I appreciate feedback, and as I strive to make everyone happy on here. I wasnt around for the eliminator days, and I tried to do it the best I could. I scratched my only horse in the eliminator because I really feel like I dont deserve any winnings from it(Drawing the parking lot didnt help solve my frustration either). No one seems happy, especially the people who didnt qualify any horses. I want to thank the few of you who private messaged me nice things and who appreciate all the hard work I put in. I really dont even have time for all that I do, but I make time because I love it. It just gets frustrating when I do all this stuff, and dont have time to attend to my horses the way the deserve to be, therefore they run like crap. I really have high hopes for the site, and with a little TLC its going to be great. I just dont know what to do or where to go from here. I am frustrated. I want to do all these tedious things to make the site run more smooth, but Carl has assured me he has it under control and will be putting more time into it now. I think for now selling off 3/4 of my horses is the right thing to do. As for the show, I really dont feel good about doing the show this week. I dont even want to talk about the eliminator, I would rather just move on to next week.

I plan on really promoting the site hardcore once we get the tutorials up and all the little things fixed. The show will be better then ever as I have new equipment, and I will give you all my everything. Next year the eliminator will run as closely to as the old days. The format will be the same. I formally appologize for it not going well this year. As for my claimers, please please claim them from me! I plan on keeping 10 or so horses.

      Joe,

I want to thank you for your contributions to the site. As you know I recently came back to the site, after being away for over a year. During my previous stint here, you were not around and I never got to know you. Since I've been back, you, what you've done and what you are currently doing have been the highlight. The things you are doing are long over due. I for one appreciate what you are trying to acomplish. I'm sure others on the site feel the same way.

I hope you keep plugging away, just take it slow and easy. the site will eventually be better for it.

      Thanks again,

      Don

Joe if it was not for you, this site would have been dead long ago. Your the one that has started to bring it back to life, i for one say keep on doing what your doing.

Mistakes are forgiven when they result from good-natured enthusiasm. You've done far more good than harm here; keep it up.

                  Joe:

I know it is difficult when you put in as much effort as you have and get crapped on for it.

You have done wonders for the site and I look forward to your show every week. I was really hoping you were going to call race #5 today with Norm's horse coming from behind to win the race lololol.

As far as people griping all the time, unfortunately that is human nature, it would be nice however, if those who are forst to bitch and moan would cut you some slack.

Whatever you need from me and my stable is yours for the asking, (within reason of course.)

Just remember that whatever you do, you will never please all of the people all of the time.

Seaman Staynes is a racecaller's nightmare, whether he is showing up in front, coming from behind or appearing in the middle... the list is endless

I concur with Burky's statements and emphasize that you are doing a fantastic job. It takes a lot of time to run a top stable and to add in promotion of the site can be nigh impossible without one suffering. Please don't get disheartened, stick to your guns, learn from your mistakes and you and the game will be all the better for it.

I think everyone really appreciates all you've done to help DD. Please be sure to reserve enough time to run your stable and still have FUN here. Even if that means things for DD overall are delayed or even don't get done.

                      Thanks

Joe - There are a lot more important things in life other than DD. When all of the time that you spent on this site becomes like a second job, then it's time to let the site owners take the reins and run it as they see fit. When your passion and enthusiasm is no longer there, maybe the course of action that you are taking to regroup is the best solution.

Thank you for all that you have done to try and make this site fun for all.

Joe - No ONE works harder on this site than you. I actually liked the way the Eliminator was run this season....but the past was okay too.

Regarding your stable.........Stop doing the stupid sh-t. This game is hard enough. I would be frustrated if I killed off my best 2 year olds and
scratched a horse in a free race. Next time you get frustrated, stop and sleep on it before acting.

Thanks man Your a good dude. I am a little on the impulsive side, and I am very competitive. It truely beats me up sometimes, and I act before I think. My win percentage is so terrible every year the first month of the season, and then I tend to settle in. I wonder why I do so poorly early. I need to evaluate why that is.
