Hey guys,
was just thinking to myself it might be a nice thing for newbies if some of the more experienced players started kind of a mentor program. When a newbie comes on board maybe someone could volunteer to be that persons primary mentor for a month or so. (if the newbie is interested, anyway) So that way, the person always has one person to go to with questions. I'm sure sometimes newbies don't post things out here because they don't think it's "worthy".
Maybe the mentor could go as far as to offer up a horse to the new stable that could win a mid-level race so that if their three freebies turn out to be garbage they could still get a feel for the game and get a taste of some green.
Everybody here is always eager to help, but if people don't like to post on forums and things maybe a Private Message mentor would be better for them. Just a thought. Let me know what you think.
