    Wagering on the match race.

    Ok, I have a proposition.

10,000 credits against any horse in the barn.

    Here's how it works.

I'll take FOTR, and you (anybody) takes JS.

If I win I put the horse of my choice on reserve and you have to buy it for $10,000. If I lose I'll buy yours.

I'll take up to 5 bets at $10,000 each.

    Deal...or no deal?

I'll take that deal and yes I will be risking my own credits, not credits I have leased for the season from another stable.

Wow. Betting on my horse. That's awesome.

If she's not on her way downhill, she'll be right there. She's in perfect shape for this race.

Thanks for the confidence in her Eric and Big Ed!

Favorite Trick's case for Horse of the Year in 1997 --

"He lacks the physical stature of Easy Goer. He hasn’t the sheer brilliance of Seattle Slew. And his pedigree is hardly cut from the same royal cloth as Secretariat’s. Despite these "inadequacies", Favorite Trick, a truly special Thoroughbred, has accomplished more than any two-year-old colt in the forty-five years since Native Dancer won all nine of his races en route to the 1952 championship."

I am sorry Coach, I thought Fox had a great chance of knocking JS off her pedestal. Double up in the SSS Route Final this weekend?

Deb still hasn't gotten back to me about Crests Tex taking on Wazzu...

Rich is on a fishing trip and does not know the outcome of the race as yet. I am taking care of his stable for him while he is gone...I guess he will know who won when he logs into his stable and his money is gone!
