Ive got a theory that D/D jockeys work on something like a confidence meter. If they ride a winner, its like a little boost to their confidence. Hence, they will ride better the higher they are up the jockeys ladder. R Oakford is an example. He couldnt ride his girlfriend last season, but with some good rides from the bigger stables on better horses, he is riding much better and with confidence. Ive started giving C Castro a few rides to test it out, but i feel my stable lacks the grunt and power to make a big impact.I wonder would the bigger stables be interested in giving Castro one ride per day on a horse they think might run well.You only need to put him on just one of your horses per day. Woody,Aqua, Sparc,GLL,Ryan,Star Of The Desert,Florida,Buster,Tc,Racing Downs,Circle High, Maritime ,Pharmacon and all the rest,im appealing for you all to give Castro ONE ride per day.I will keep regular posts on his progress and request that we do it for 7 days starting from today Saturday 9th June.Go in before todays races and give him a couple of rides, i have.I wonder how much he might improve?
