Just out of curiousity why does everyone use CAL for the workout track when most of the races are at belmont??

Frame of reference. I have years of workouts to which to compare new works on CAL. Plus, Camaro is always available at CAL to be a pacehorse, which is probably why so many folks run theirs there--to let their horses try to soak up his greatness.

I sort of echo the senitments of Rory. I know what I'm looking for in working a horse at CAL. Basically, I'm focusing on figuring out where to place my horses and I'm not so worried about the track (there are enough variables in the game).

      Good luck to all,

CAL is the older of the two tracks and I have stuck with it. "Better the devil you know than the one you don't". The only time I use BEL is for testing my Eliminator hopefuls.

Plus it gives me a chance to match my horses against the great Camaro.

He really screws up the live 3D viewer. The rest of the field finishes, start dancing on the same spot waiting for Camaro to finish. He goes past them like greased lightning and does another lap and the rest of the field jumps up and down on the one spot waiting for him. I have never actually seen him stop running. Have you Rory?

He's always striving to improve. The real downer is he has been abused so badly that he can't get his initial burst, which is devastating to his running style. He used to be able to lose by 100s of lengths, but alas, no more.
