Thanks for the somewhat backhanded welcome....

Lost my touch? Really? Well, first of all, I haven't done anything yet. Put in two claims yesterday and lost the shake on one, which is nothing new.

Secondly, who ever said I had any sort of a touch? I never bred anything that won more than an allowance race. Every good horse I ever had, I claimed or bought privately... every single one. That's one of the reasons I left actually. Mr. Big, Jump Street, Grace under Fire, Crocodile Dundee, Red Rider, Crash Course, Caffeine Colt, Dakota, Farm Horse, King, Cash it In, Bean Pole, Miss Rakish, Monster, Smashbox, Texanna, Swamp Buggy, ect... all claimed or bought privately.

So, good luck beating me... shouldn't be too hard!

Hey Norm - by the way, I wonder if our big fake fight with that match race is still on the formums somewhere... I just remembered that... that was awesome.

"He lacks the physical stature of Easy Goer. He hasn’t the sheer brilliance of Seattle Slew. And his pedigree is hardly cut from the same royal cloth as Secretariat’s. Despite these "inadequacies", Favorite Trick, a truly special Thoroughbred, has accomplished more than any two-year-old colt in the forty-five years since Native Dancer won all nine of his races en route to the 1952 championship."

Jeff, I had completely forgotten about that. It was a hoot! Openly going at each other's throats, covertly laughing our asses off in the Private Messages.
I found the thread entitled 'Jeff????' in this section. Page 68. I just finished reading it over. It had more twists and turns than any Agatha Christie novel. The best bit was where I was betting Cannorth's stable against you leaving the game. Even Pete wasn't sure if I was serious or not. Good times, devious times...

Not sure if you noticed that Eric (Florida Farms) has started up his stable again after a long lay-off. All we need is Andrew (Showtime) to reappear and the old gang is fully functional again.

            No hard feelings Woodville...

Norm - Just finished reading the whole Jump Street vs. Fox on the Run thread. It's hilarious. I actually named a horse "Flaming Gay Thunder" for that prank. Hahaha... and you called me a rapist. It just doesn't get any better.

What ever happened to Cybertooth, Sal and Phyliss, Ray (Ginkamo) Gunner, Coachrich and Blarney Valley... all gone?

Cyber has been running a few horses up until this season. He may come back.

Haven't seen Sal for a long time. I think he left just after you did.

Ray left a few seasons ago.

Gunner likewise after he cleaned most of us out lol

Coach left a long time ago before you I think. He showed up briefly for a season then left again.

Kelly (Blarney Valley) left the game when he left here to return to the States. I have spoken to him on facebook but he says he is too busy (involved in the banking industry) at the moment to get back to DD but may show up in the near future.

Zamboni gutted us one season then disappeared.

I retired ThunderDownunder stable and joined up with Nigel in GLL. Took over this stable this season just to prove to Nigel that I am much better at the game than he is lol. It is neck and neck but GLL has a lot more depth in stock than this one. Don't care where I finish on the trainer's list as long as I am ahead of Nigel!

Thanks! It's good to see you and a lot of the stables who I remember from a few years ago still around and winning races.

Thanks for the welcome back... and you won't see me turning down any free breeding offers in the near future. I need to get some young horses in my stables because right now it's full of terrible 12 year olds!
