  • Races 4/17

Come on what is this game comming to only 5 races on the card Sun 4/17..Thats crazy and i have horses sitting in the barn that have not raced all month...Either there is no one left playing the game or the right races are not being written.....This is an awesome game i can not believe that in the whole world we cant get 20 more stables to play,Is this game to much for most people to play?I know you guys would laugh if you seen how many yearling I have and how much it cost to breed them,In todays ecomomy i bet we would have i bunch of old stables come back if it cost less or maybe the smaller stables would get bigger if it were less.Just a thought,,What do you guys think....

Its not the races as if you look at mondays racing we have 24 of all different types but we only have 5 races with enough runners for it to go ahead.
Speed doesn’t matter as much as direction.

        Wow!

Both of you guys are right - this is really bad. I saw the card for tomorrow earlier today, and couldn't believe it has gotten this bad. I've had a little more success finding races for my 2 year olds than my older horses, but have had problems finding suitable spots for my older fillies. One possible solution, which I think has been debated here before, is to have the # of races a fillie must race increased before she can be bred, or maybe moving the age from 3 to 4 - it won't solve all the problems here, or do so today, but it could be a piece of the solution in the future. Any feedback on this is welcomed.

I think the racing schedule needs to be looked at also - seems like there are a lot of similar races around the same time which could water down some fields.

I wish I had a solution to this, hopefully we'll get some new members soon - I'm getting tired of getting beat by the same stables

Well I will say this since I have been gone for awhile. I left due to the fact I just could not afford it as it is not cheap to breed nor buy creates and race competitively. I plan on running a decent but not heavy schedule as money allows in the coming season. If the fees were scaled back a bit I am sure old players and new would be apt to come in and be more active.

I have always enjoyed this game and the community and look forward to season 19.

If we had 2 or 3 more active stables i think things would pick up around here...I dont know if its the cost of breeding and raving thats keeping them away..Would love to find out.Do you guys think this game is to costly ?

I dont think its the cost of racing as we get most of the money back as prize money. I think the cost of breeding might be putting off some of the members, lets say you have a colt or filly and you want to use another members horse for breeding you have to pay the fee for the members horse which is fair but you also have to pay 8000 for you to use your own horse? now to me thats the problem. If you own the horse why should you pay the 8000? its your horse.

If we only had to pay the fee of the horse we are using and not the extra 8000 that would make a difference, the owner of the horse you are using gets his money and the game gets a precentage of the use of the horses fee as well. Then we might get more people to join and also partake in the game.

              Just a thought...

I agree, the 8$ breeding 2000 DD 1000 vet and Half of them wont be claimed in a 2000 claimer it is a little high and is if you breed using your own too breed. It would even out if the site lowered the breeding cost, stables would breed more and have more money to enter races, claim ,it would be a win win for all.

The 2000 DD upgrade and the 1000 vet fees i can understand and to me thats not the problem, like i said before if you own a horse be it a filly or colt you should not have to pay anything to use it to breed from.

hey people im only a small stable considering i am only just turned 15 years old, i struggle to pick up money i need to use family credit cards and stuff. i agree the breeding cost is too much. and even possibly if there were new options added to the vet scheme of things might make people want to buy the vet thing. which in turn may improve some horses making them want to race them more making more races.i see more maiden races out and am liking it considering most of mine are slow :P and have never won before haha. i love this game. <3 haha we will all figure it out eventually everyone start ringin get some people playin

also after some thought.. why not on your first credit purchase maybe give 2 more horses or even 10$$ more credits to the new players just to intrigue them. another idea i thought might be cool but is pretty silly. maybe when you win and stuff you can get line shots and stuff of your horse winning and save it to your profile and show them off or even be able to save them to your computer. yes its silly but i like it. any ideas i get i will post cause im cool like that :P hehe
