It was really nice meeting everyone this year at Churchill Downs. My Dad and I had a great time. I hope everyone's travels back home were smooth and safe. Can' wait to do it again next year. Thanks to Pat and Val for putting everything together and great job by Dave coordinating the sponsoring of the race Friday night. Boris even seemed to be on his best behavior.

Back home
Just finished 11 hours on the road driving back from the Grand Victoria Casino in Indiana to Myrtle Beach. Broke even for the most part, and I really enjoyed the links golf course there. I guess the highlight was when the power went out in the Casino Monday night (very stormy there both nights) while I was playing a slot machine. Auxilliary lights came on right away, but the machines were down for about 15 minutes, and you could sense the panic people had wondering if the machines had retained their $ balances. Fortunately, all came back on correctly.
I also want to thank Pat and Val for hosting a wonderful event, and to say I enjoyed meeting everyone. It's always nice to put a name with a face, and I'm already looking forward to next year.

It was really nice seeing everyone. Craig thanks for dinner Sun night. Rory you make a fine lunch buddy. Pat you did an awesome job organizing (much better than navigating says the pot to the kettle). N1 and N2 you were a delight to cart around. Miss Megan you can be my wingman anytime!Comment
