  • The End of Season Stakes Day

    We will hold the first annual end of season stakes day Dec 30th. Entries will be due by Dec 20th to finalize the card in time. Each race is 40k added and everyone should be able to participate in one race and hopefully multiple races.

    These stakes have the following conditions. For 3 and up colts, gelding and fillies/mares. Also, entries will be based on earnings of the current season as well, not lifetime.

    1. The Platinum Classic- males- 1 1/4 miles Belmont Dirt. Automatic entry with win of SSR. 10k entry fee.

    2. The Diamond Cup- females- 1 1/8 miles Belmont Dirt. Automatic entry with win of SSR. 10k entry fee.

    3. The Bolt Stakes- males- 6f Belmont Dirt. Automatic entry with win of SSS. 10 k entry fee.

    4. The Lightning Cup- females- 6f Belmont Dirt. Automatic entry witn win of SSS. 10 k entry fee.

    5. The Bourbon Stakes- males - 7 f Belmont Turf. Limited to horses that have run for 30k or less claiming races in current season. entry fee 7k. 1 horse per stable.

    6. The Martini Cup- females- 7 f on Belmont Turf. Liminted to horses that have run for 30k or less claiming races in current season. entry fee 7k. 1 horse per stable.

    7. The Draft Beer Cup- males- 1 1/8 Belmont Dirt. Limited to horses that have run for 5k or less. entry fee 5k. 1 horse per stable.

    8. The Wine Cooler Stakes- females 1 1/8 Bel Dirt. Liminted to horses that have run for 5k or less. entry fee 5f. 1 horse per stable.

    9. Small Stable Male Stakes- males- 1 mile Belmont dirt. limited to stables that have 20 wins or less during current season as of Dec 10th. 5 k entry

    10. Small stable Filly Stakes - females- 1 mile Bel Dirt. Liminted to stables with 20 wins or less during current season as of Dec 10th. 5k entry.

    Winning Stables of the small stable stakes will have the race named after them in the following year end of stakes card. First superstar series race is this weekend. I will answer any questions and good luck to everyone. I hope this will add some excitement to end of year.

          Is this thing still a go for 12/30/09? I hadn't seen anything on this for a while, and I didn't see these races listed on the 12/30 schedule slate. This does seem like a cool idea, and a great way to end the season.

            Yes all systems are a go still. I will be posting updated automatic qualifiers from Super star Series sprints and routes. Also, I will post the race particulars again. Look for it this weekend.
