New Viewer is a BIG JOKE

What the hell kind if race was that (1st race on the 18th with the new viewer). How the hell can a post 6 start from the one hole ? How can that time be considered a track record ?
I think a lot more has to be done to the new viewer !!!!!

Rather than a big joke. It's more of a test. As we can see, only one race was run with the new viewer. The race mechanics were good with some technical difficulties. It has already been stated that the track records will be reset when the new viewer is up and running, so the first race will be the new track record no matter how fast or slow it runs.

Viewer looked great today. I had one in the last race that sat last the entire way and flew up an finished 2nd. Much more exciting! Seal of Approval here!

It is a superb innovation. I'm not sure that the times are realistic though. If Quo Vadis can run 5F in 57.26, Pension Plan and Crests Tex will run it in low 50's. admin will be flooded with complaints from the residents living near the racecourse about the sonic booms as they break the sound barrier

I think we need to give the new viewer some time. After all it's still realistically in it's test period. I love the graphics, the race. I'm not too sure about the times right now and would probably wait till Carl tells us everything is ironed out before I rely on the finish times. I say GREAT job DD and thank you for making this a fun site.

It looks like the viewer is working O.K. now. Todays races looked good. The times are going to be faster as all can see but now we wait to see if the fastest horses still stay faster and the slower horses still stay slower. This is the way it is going to be. A Bum is a Bum and a Champ is a Champ. The only change will be the times are faster.
I do like the new viewer and DD has done a good job with this site.

YES!! I LOVE the new viewer, I love the new distance bias, I have some CLOSERS!! I have some ROUTERS! YEEHA!! Who would have figured Hot Pocket liked the distance so much! A whole new lease on their lives for a few that have never found thier little zone before. I LOVE THIS GAME!!
