Did I miss any? (descriptions provided by various members)
    1. 3 Diamond Ranch
    2. Aardvark Stables: Top Trainer in Season 13, Jamie's stable is a model of patience and steady growth. One of many stables that newbies would be wise to contact with questions.
    3. Absolute Runaway
    4. Amadave Farms: The birdman is a fan-favorite. Savvy trainer operates well on a budget and has been known to surprise in the big races.
    5. Aquaman Stable: With a background in real life racing, the Waterman is the King of the Claimers especially in the lower ranks. With a winning percentage of over 20 percent in his two years here, dominates where he chooses to play the game and makes no bones about. Spends virtually no money on breeding as he claims most all his stock from Rory, Jamie,GLL and especially me. Tough competitor and a very practical approach to the game.
    6. Bald Farm: This cat has really excelled with breeding and, if he likes a horse, he will spend money to get it. A very, very good claimer. Has one of the best breeding programs at DD.
    7. Barycki Racing
    8. Brown Star Stables
    9. Cannorth Stables: Pete runs this stable, and Pete is one of the truly good guys around. When he's not out working, he does a great job running the Tracksider, and over his career there aren't too many races he hasn't one. He has trained some legends and is always, always willing to lend a hand.
    10. Carmona Farms: One of the overseas stables. Owner Virgilio is one of the good guys that play the game. This season he looks loaded with runners and plays the game at the highest levels. Patient with his stock and can be real tough to beat. Breeds a lot and has good bloodlines.
    11. Circle High Sttables
    12. Clover Stables
    13. County Line Farms
    14. Cristi Racing
    15. Cybertooth
    16. Daffidil
    17. Delbrington Stables
    18. Donovan Stables: Pat isn't the only Donovan on the site, but he's the first. Seasons 14 saw Donovan introduce Val's Gone Wild, the most prolific 2yo ever. More good things are expected from this veteran real-world and digital horseman.
    19. Eating Dust Stables
    20. Falcon Oaks: Big stable run by Big Al, organizes and runs the eliminator, and always has top horses to contend with. Is a mainstay on the top-10 board, and is always a factor on big-race weekends.
    21. Faraway Farms: High-powered stable keeps pure bloodlines and rarely messes with cheap races. Made some large claims and purchases, most notably Jumpin Jack Flash. Hits the board more than 50% in those big races.
    22. Finca Vigia Studs
    23. Fog City Racing
    24. Getting Lucky Lodge: Aussie-run mega stable, run by Norm and Nigel (but really Boris). Always a leader in both helping new players and competing for the trainer's title. They go all out and this stable is a big force at d.d. Another stable newbies have watched and learned from. They breed a lot and keep on pluginn'
    25. Goof Troop
    26. Grand Prix Stables
    27. Gunner Stable
    28. Hit Man
    29. Hendersons Stables
    30. Jb Stables
    31. Landon's Racers
    32. Lone Star Stables
    33. Luci O
    34. Lugnut Stables
    35. Midwest Racing
    36. Operation Shutdown
    37. Outcast
    38. Party House Stables
    39. Polaris Bloodstock
    40. Prozac
    41. Racing Downs
    42. Ryan Express: 2nd in all time wins and career earnings, and wins at an alarming percent (24%). Was once run by brothers, but Rory has taken the reigns alone. Has very good breeding stock and his horse Christie's Colt is close to being the all time leading earner in Digital Downs history. His horses always run well in stakes, and is very active in all aspects of Digital Downs. A true champion stable. Has a horse to fit ever race someone I really respect in the game. I really like the way he runs in the big races tuff tuff stabl
    43. Second to None
    44. Shadow Mountain Stables
    45. Silver Pistol Stables: Joined in Season 15 and seems in it for the long haul. Time will tell.
    46. Sky High
    47. Socal Racing: Don might not be one of the bigger stables here, but he is certainly one of the best. He always has a well rounded stable of horses that is well managed and well spotted. His 317 career wins has him 22nd on the all-time list, to go with a sparkling 19.2% career win pct. If he decided to expand his operation, he would certainly be a factor near the top of the trainer's standings every season.
    48. Socratic Racing
    49. Sparc Stables: Power stable run by Russ took a break and came back strong. Aggressive, big budget, and always a threat to claim your horses and then beat you with them.
    50. Star of the Desert: "Burky" is the owner of one of the DD all-time great stables. He is currently 6th on the career list for races won player with 964, and 7th in career earnings with just over 14 million. His homebred Road To Mandalay is one of the all-time great horses, with 35 wins, close to 700 K in earnings, and holder of 2 track records at 2 different tracks. He's also been a terrific stallion...(Road To Mandalay not Burky!!) Always a gentleman, he is a friend to all of us, and a pleasure to compete against.
    51. TC Farms
    52. Texas Racing Stables
    53. Texaseast Throughbreds
    54. The Box's Studs
    55. Three Diamond Farm
    56. Top Stable
    57. Topdraw Stables: Joined in Season 14, this still-smaller stable enjoys looting the big stables before breakfast. Is searching for that niche.
    58. Trunoble Lodge
    59. Turf Downs
    60. Willowbrook Farms
    61. Woodville Stables: a relative newcomer, but he has enjoyed great success in his start here at DD. Quickly becoming one of top stables, breeds like crazy, and is tireless in his pursuit for champions. Has many 2 and 3 year olds running now, and as you can see from his record early this season (15), he is a force to be reckon with. A lot of fun, and will run his horses "blind" just to see what he has. Looks to be a major player for many seasons to come.
    I'll keep this thread updated.

Updated (See first post in this thread).

If you're not on the list but are active, please reply.

If you KNOW someone hasn't run a race in more than a month, let me know so I can delete them. Also, any help regarding new stables making first paying start would be great, either in this thread or via PM.

With such a nice game like this, it's a shame we don't have more active users. Digiturf and HorseRacingPark are much more popular, but this is a much better game, as far as I'm concerned. That's one of the reasons I think this game would benefit from a referral program. . .though I suppose there's nothing wrong with having a small, close-knit community.
"Rachel WON. She wins INDEED. Rachel Alexandra THE GREAT."

"Here's a filly for the ages--a Haskell legend. Rachel DID IT."

"And now Rachel Alexandra is opening up 5 lengths on the field, 6. . .oh a Tour De Force by the super filly!"

"Oh, Rachel Alexandra. . .Calvin Borel isn't moving a muscle on her. Super filly? You bet!"

"What's the final margin? She might've won by 20!"

I dont think you can beat a friendly helpfull community, i have only been playing a couple of weeks but the way i have been welcomed it feels like i have been playing for yrs. The game itself is interesting and offers the chance for its players to produce a future line of champs, from proven sires,mares.... or from game purchased ones. Unlike digiturf or raceclubs where you have to spend thousands of your hard earned cash to try get a pooled champion were the big yards generally own the big horses.Least with DD like i,ve mentioned before you got a chance of breeding your monster...
and be part of a really friendly community ..................Top

This game has been around long enough. . .and is just not very popular.

And I, for the life of me, cannot figure out why. It's a realistic, fun, entertaining, challenging game with an informative, helpful, friendly community. Not quite sure what's wrong with it, other than the fact that other games have done a better job of marketing their game. (Referral programs, advertising on search engines, etc.)

I guess the economy being like it is can't help much, but I do hope many more join in the future.

I was in digiturf for about 2 months last year - hated it! It was too oversimplified with 4 horse classes (A thru D). This game makes you think; which makes it very cerebral as well as exciting. I've been here 6 months and enjoy it very much.

                        Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

I don't know the figures, but IF it is not popular, I bet it is because you actually have to THINK and plan, and read, and remember, which is why I like it...but I suspect the general population has difficulty with those tasks. Plus, of course, they are used to instant feedback...and I am guessing that a lot of teeny boppers get here, ready to name, and play with their cute horsie...and get a rude awakening.

I think I stumbled across DD while browsing Google, and although I had been going to tracks for years, never heard of it before. One time I saw a guy with a Digital Downs hat, I think, at one of the tracks, but nothing before or since. I am very good at publicizing events, and projects...and would be happy to talk to Carl about ideas. I believe there is a huge untapped market out there, looking for DD, just like I was.

AR hit the nail on the head. The product is good but a good product needs good Marketing. Until that is tackled, we will continue to stagnate around the 50 active stable mark.
