  • As the current Season winds down

As the current season winds down and we get ready for another exciting season, what are your highlights for the season and the biggest disappointments of this season?
My highlights of course would be the overall sucess of my own stable and the many positive changes to the game that have been instituted in the past couple of months. The addition of owner sponsored races whcih supplement the previous ones. The fact that Brian( the thin skinned elf slavemaster) is still with us despite the constant badgering of him by myself and others. Sparcs rise to the top and my pick for leading trainer next year and a few good new members.Aspen leaving and Prozac and Diggler resurfacing.
On the downside, I was surprised by the lack of depth in the allowance ranks as no completely dominant 2yos surfaced and lack of participation in the SSS races in 3 of the divisions.Too few entries in the last month of the season due to breeding and lack of creativity in the conditiion book. BELMONT's behavior(should be forced to surrender all winnings of CBH). No good passing lane inside which trapped many horses which are full of run. No Zamboni( maybe his wife will let him play again). Thunder and Nigel as a team at GLL with Super Stable being disbanded and all Super Stable personel out of work.
And of course the disappearance of Lasmoron. You guys thoughts?

Well for me being a rookie and all, one of my highlight is the recent artical on my stable in the tracksider and also getting to meet all the great people here at D/D one of the friendliest communities I have ever came across online,Another highlight for me is getting my 1st paddock horse and watching him run his 1st T.W. in 58.67 I remember reading a post about paddock horses of how there where junk well my 1st one sure is looking good in his T.W so that was a nice surprise

      Good stuff,

      1. Suppressing all elf uprisings
      2. Coming to labor agreement with the above through the next season
      3. All the love letters from Falcon that I have stored in my heart forever
      4. Friends made on the site. Who shall remain nameless through guilt by association.
      5. Winning trainer and horse of the year Oh wait....
      6. Advancements and refininements made in the game.

      Bad Stuff:

      1. Being forced to make my stable self sufficient
      2. The clicking to make your horse faster feature being turned off after it became public.
      3. Being made uncomfortable due to advancements of a personal nature from a certain other stable owner who shall remain nameless because he now has family on the site.
      4. Stine gelding my elves.
      5. Falcon's jealousy over the elves.
      6. and the big one DUD BREEDS.

I don't remember how the elves got started but I wish I'd never seen them....the upkeep on them alone is horrible let alone the horses. Apparently I cant even use them as Jockeys either. I'm thinking of sending all the elves over to Stines stable for him to deal with and good luck to you Falcon hopefully I can compete a little more with you in the upcoming season.
