Please Post Gate Draw Win% for every Distance, Surface, etc..

Can you Please Post Gate Draw Win% for every Track, Surface and Distance....ALL tracks in North America do this, and MOST online games also do this. With all things being equal with quality horses and trainers being randomly assigned, I/We would like to see this, as it could help our strategy, particularly for new members.

stats by post will not be helpful on full track for example - Dirt Cal 5f only 19 races with more then 9 horses .

We are also making some tweeks for new season . I know Orb is upset the he gets the 3 or 5 post way to often , but look at these stats and they are pretty even .

Greeko I don't have that information . I will not post all the distances and tracks and surfaces but will share a couple if you have questions . It is a lot better then it was . It will get better .

New players will get almost no information from these charts . The Best horse usually wins . There is no reason why a stable or horse gets a certain post , but with thousands of races a month there are going to be unusual streaks . Its all Random as far as horse getting a gate . or stables getting the same gate . There is no part of the code that uses past race to give out post . every race is a complete separate thing .

your jockey instruction is very important to the way a race is ran .

This is for entertainment please remember that you are competing vs other knowledgeable trainer that can change the result of the race by changing their instructions . Thanks

example here 5f cal dirt - 8 horses race the 1 wins 10 out of 31 ,but at 9 horses the 1 post wins 1 out of 15 . you put those together the 1 post wins 11 out of 46 . I am not sure that we have ran enough races to get a true % . Again we will make some tweaks and hope its better next season . Thanks all

These are the stats for the last 12 months - these do not including changes done before this season -- so it would be even more even in the next 12 months . with a few very minor changes

Without any context these stats are completely meaningless. If they are isolated by distance then they will have value.

If you want to view the strenght of the bias simply look at the champ/conso finals.

Yes my only intention was to post stats like the programs for tracks in North America do...They treat each post position like a horse......Number of gate assignments divided by wins, simple 2 numbers, separated by distance.... But like I said, there are so many other factors that this is just one small piece of the puzzle.

For instance, even with significantly fewer assignments, maybe post 8 or 9 has an equal percentage or even number of wins to post 2 at 1 Mile....It would be interesting to see....

[EDIT] It also speaks to another aspect of the game I personally prefer to see changed.......3 and 4 horse races going away......having them go to "stand-by" mode until 5 horses register.

We are trying to keep forum positive . We are trying to attract new stables .This has been brought up in the past. We are working on it . It is getting better and will be better next season . The post bias, big stable vs little stable and the 3 - 4 horse thing has been discussed in many post . We still stand by our point of view on them . I agree 100%, things are on the up and up....... Admin has worked wonders to enhance the site...... Looking at the site from 20 seasons ago, this venue is MUCH more trainer-friendly, and the community is tightly-knit...... It's great entertainment value, FAR more than anywhere else I have been......Some issues are not "positive or negative"; they are mere discussions.

I am impressed with all that you and Brian have done, and I anticipate even more surprises and "goody-bags", so I hope you do not interpret any of this incorrectly Lone.

Great work this season, great site, and ideas from community members keep a great relationship going between ownership and trainers!
