It's the Trunoble Lodge fixing to run over the Greeko and TNT stables. I've been watching the light getting closer and closer but I don't think there is anything I can do but get the heck out of the way.
I've had a good run, some planned but more a case of good luck but I am not within a mile of John and Eddie when it comes to prizemoney. I have increased entries lately more to sort out the deadwood which surprisingly aren't as dead as I thought. This season, I had kept away from a lot of the evening races simply because I didn't have much to match Eddie and John in the big races, concentrating mainly on the afternoon card with careful placement which has given me a personal career high 26% Strike Rate.
I have increased breeding and making the odd claim here and there to patch up weak areas in the stable, which has been aided by Lone's bonuses now and then. The previous night was pleasing in that most of my entries won and in bigger money races than I have normally participated in. A worry is that tonight there are only 2 evening races, which I have never seen before at this time of the season.
Back to breeding, as an experiment I used the lowest priced sire on the Public Page (one credit) with a very average, recently retired filly of mine and have bred arguably the best horse I have ever produced in 30 odd seasons. After gelding, its works are outstanding at most distances. Look out for Zakynthos (John will understand the name). Hopefully its works transfer to the track.
Admittedly I have a lot of experience with the game but from the above, I am saying that with patience, some homework and not a great amount of funding, any stable can become competitive at any level.
You do realize that we're only fighting for 2nd place. Every time I log in, the site breaking news banner shows that Blue Crew Racing has won another 2 races which by my calculations makes him 682 wins so far for the season.... make that 684 wins...

Well that train has ran right on by. With work the next few weeks I dont think I can pull the rabbit out of the hat so it will be down to two for this season championship as I will just run some of my better ones the next few weeks. Good luck to Norm or John may the best stable win.

I wanted to say Thanks to Trunoble for using my sire Jenna's Beach Boy, I wish you all the best with your horses and hopefully a champ down the road

Not 100% Champs but certainly a lot of better than average ones. The good point about him is the passing of his speed to his offspring and I used 8 different broodmares. I only meant to breed a couple but when I got Zak first, I thought I would push my luck. Certainly couldn't complain about the breeding cost.
I'll send you a PM showing you what the broodmares have in common which works well with this sire. Least I can do.

Hate when offline stuff interferes with online fun. That happened to me at the start of the season. But.... I know that you can chalk up 15+ wins in a day at a moment's notice. I still bear the scars from last season and won't count you out of contention until midnight 30th April. Good luck John, Trunoble is running flat to the boards and if you have anything in reserve, I won't be able to counteract it.
