Is Gate 3 Still a Factor?

Just curious, because I have had Gate 3 in the last 3 days:

8 out of 17
8 out of 19
8 out of 24

40% over 60 races from the same gate?

This is twice more than any other gate draw

Just curious if this helped or hurt, seems like it hurt in the races........but I know some adjustments were made

Each post position depends on the distance and how many horses are in the race.

yeah I went back and won several from gate 3, so no harm, no foul it would seem.....I think I won 5 or 6 out of the 24, I think it was just that the biggest races with the biggest purses I fared poorly from gate 3. The $20k claimers with 3 or 4 horse fields, when I had a much better class-dropper in was able to handle the 3 post.

That's the first glance analysis, but not a huge handicap like I first "feared" but no longer knew was true anymore.
