Ace of Spade 3 YO Filly - This regally bred filly was a 10K claim by me for the sole purpose of breeding her next season. After I got her she turned out to be a decent 9F claimer and won a couple of races for me. The daughter of potent sire Killed to Death who was a nearly 500K earning son of Legendary Mare Sheza Troll +1 million in earnings. His offspring earnings are awesome with a average earnings per race of $4281. Her dam Midnight lucky also won close to $500K during her career and is a daughter of sire Justice Hammer, his progency are averaging a nice 3300K per race. Current bid as of this writing is 7500K. Cooking with Gas 2 YO Colt - Was a nice 2K claim for me earlier this season and I thought enough of him to place him into a conditional NL2 Alw race that he won for me in a nice time for 6F. Since then he's won only one time but that was for 40K and he's still got conditions left for next season with a high 43K to secure some nice jocks for those races or the claiming ranks. Don't forget he is still ungelded so you get 50 breeds or you can try gelding to get more out of him. Current price is 7500K (located on page 8)
Flame Pharm 3 YO Filly - Lightly raced with only 16 life time starts she can be bred next season or can race in the low to mid level claimers especially on turf. She runs very competitive numbers at 9F and has run well against stiffer foes. Breeding potential comes from both parents may be high as each parent average earnings are at 3300K per race with a large sample size. Current bid of this writing is 5K (located on page 12)
Free Death 3 YO Filly - Also lightly raced with only 15 races life time she has shown a nose for the wire winning 5 races. Was another low risk claim for me for 2K this season for the breeding value. Like I always do with recent claims I go back to her workouts to see if they have another add to try especially if they've struggled of late. I stretched her back out routing and put a pair of blinkers on. She places twice in the starter alw ranks and then WINS a straight allowance race from the 3 hole in 2:18 flat for 11F. I wanted to see how she would do on push at 10F and she didn't have the cleanest of trips in her last race. Still a lot of upside for this one on the race track and also in the breeding shed coming from that same Killed to Death (Almost 500K in earnings) sire line out of a Troll Cody mare. Freedom Girl 2 YO Filly - 8 3 3 0 with 33K in earnings. She's turned out to be a nice mid level router due to her high cruising speed. It's been difficult finding her races so she only has just the 8 starts. She placed in an allowance contest at 9F from the 3 hole and just wired a group of 25K last out when she had the for sale sign on. She's also undefeated on turf a perfect 2 for 2. Her dam Free to Own won half of her 20 races as a 4F specialist (FTO is also available in this auction as a breeder) and her sire Opt-tical Xmas was a nice mid level router who won 9 races and banked nearly 100K (OXMAS is also in this auction as a breeder). Freedom of Doubt 2 YO Gelding - Looking for wins at the end of the season before I hang up my saddle I decided to geld this well bred runner as he failed to break his maiden in 6 starts. After the geld I placed him in the new test D Division and he won in 121.64 for 7 panels and banked almost 32K in that race alone. He was then stretched out to 9 panels and needed to be on steady faltering in the final jump for 2nd. His last two he had difficulty with the dreaded 3 hole. Get Off My Lawn 4 YO Filly - 10-12F specialist she won her last race in the Holiday Oaks Derby 12F and won over 27K in that effort. This big filly loves to win and has 13 of them in just 38 starts in her career. She's still in good form having won her last two efforts against top company. She should make a decent breeder someday. Idiocracy 3 YO Colt - Another one of my low risk claims for 2K that turned into something special. I cut this guy back in distance and placed him in the mid level claimers and he's been winning ever since for me. He sports the "racehorse" record of 28 10 5 5 with over 121K in earnings. He's won races from 6 to 12F! and has 5 dirt wins and 5 turf wins so it doesn't matter the surface either! This versatile colt still has his mind on racing and has won 3 out of his last 5 races! It's A Rose 2 YO Colt - NFL pickem prize for me just won a 10F Opt Claiming 80K race by open lengths in a sparkling 2:02.81! Lightly raced at 2 he's only run 11 times and has just two wins so he's still eligible for next season lucrative D Division. Nice horse to have in your barn. Current bid as of this writing is 17500K. Its An Echo 3 YO Filly - 7 time winning filly just finished 3rd in the SSR finals last night. She's had a productive career at this point banking 254K already in earnings. The price tag for this one is high, but she's worth every penny. With just 17 life time starts and a more lucrative earnings program for next season it won't take long for her to pay her way. Punish the Field 2 YO Gelding - Half brother to my best homebred I ever had Train Me I Win has plenty of good races left. I always thought highly of this one and probably mismanaged his career and dirtied up his form trying to get him through the alw races as a colt. Since the geld he was amazing! Just watch his last race on 12/23 against a deep 7 horse field and tell me this horse won't win you money at 3. You can also probably get him into the divisional ranks with some success next season. Shell Hammer(pa) 4 YO Filly - Nice filly has the "racehorse" record you look for in a potential broodmare of 49 9 13 11 and over 215K in earnings. Still going strong she's only missed the board 4 times from 16 starts and made over 100K this season including a stake win in the Normandy Sprint earlier this season. Out of a Troll Cody mare, her sire amassed over 200K in earnings on the track and offers tremendous value as a broodmare alone. Slim Shady Lady 2 YO Filly - Nicely bred filly has been one of the hardest horses I've owned to figure out. Still a maiden after 16 starts she's been a big disappointment for me but may improve in a new barn. She has TWO adds at 108.7! and another add just under 109. Believe me I've tried them all and have protected her from the claim box until recently. If you figure her out next season she can make money for you with all of the conditions left. So Cal Vicki 3 YO Filly - Well put together filly has made over 100K in her career as 10F distance specialist, although she can also run 11 and 12 furlongs with some success. ITM in 9 of 11 starts this season she's running very well and appears to be running at the top of her game. Her race last week she won a nice Opt Claimer 80K race with 10 other rivals in 2:02.86! This finishing time is consistent with competing at the highest level of routers based on my observations of this game the past two years. Just 22 starts she has a lot of racing left and should make a nice breeder. Starting bid as of this writing is 25K. (Located on page 11)
Train Me I Win 3 YO Colt - My best homebred has brought me the best of memories as an owner on DD and made my journey as a trainer the most rewarding. What started out as a fun contest turned out to be the long road to one of the best 3 YO sprinters this season. After I received 2nd on his maiden voyage I decided to "train up" the aptly named son of Reach of Doubt for a couple of weeks leading up to his final start at 2 in the Turf Sprint. Boom! ST combo add 108.75! The rest as they say is history. 20 8 7 0 337K in earnings Turf Sprint winner at 2, 6 time SSS winner, and several placings at the same level and you have a lightly raced superstar and even bigger breeding prospect on your hands. His SSS finals race was disappointing, and he's not yet put it together routing, but I think he's just scratching the surface of his abilities. You also get 50 breeds from this guy!
