Here are my thoughts about each current rider available for Season 5. Stables may have success with ones that I don't use but this information can be useful for newer stables looking for a good starter jockey to enter on their horses.

Abarado J 18/M/112 Needs to show more… good on a milkcart though.
Black A 25/M/110 Experienced rider, needs mounts… and brains
Bonneau M 19/M/112 Showing improvement… on rocking-horses.
Cali P 20/F/109 Decent rider, needs mounts… and a new career
Carr L 21/M/115 Seems best on turf… but better in the Indy500
Collier JJ 25/M/113 Will he or won't he… my money’s on #2 option
Cruz A 31/M/116 Solid route rider… Route 66?
Diego IV 21/M/112 Great gate skills, strong… alt. choice dirt sprints
Doe J 40/M/115 Crafty old veteran… Basket weaving crafts?
Furior S 22/M/113 Average dirt rider, better on turf… as a
landscaper.
Garcia C 25/M/115 One of the stronger riders… on the greyhound
circuit.
Gard T 19/M/110 Just needs decent mounts… and a 20lb claim
Hawley S Jr 19/F/109 She's got what it takes… alt. choice on dirt
Hudson S 18/F/107 Bug is gone, what now... back to the sandbox
Issacs D 37/M/114 Plenty of experience… unfortunately not on
winning horses.
Krutz J 20/M/115 Top gun, money rider… #1 choice all-round
Laparo J 20/M/107 Has the skills, needs a chance… fat chance.
Manzo B 22/M/113 Has improved but not popular… maybe if he won
more but ok on relax
Mario V 19/M/111 Still cocky but can he back it up… not without
steroids.
McKay J 30/F/112 Top rider looking for big season… good choice
turf/steady
Nelson D 20/F/112 Has talent, needs the rides… better in the
kitchen.
Norcia B 26/M/116 Steady rider, very consistent… on a carousel
Oneto C 44/M/119 Still has something left, weight hurts… needs a
walking frame
Oneto C Jr 18/M/106 Rides with the best, still on improve… good
choice dirt
Pana D 23/F/108 Balanced rider, tries hard every time… good
choice turf
Pasqual W 41/M/116 On the downside… nearly 6 feet under downside
Perez S 26/M/108 Steady as they come… alt choice for sprints
Punzo L 20/M/110 Needs to improve, strong from gate… good up to
3 furlongs
Ramos A 22/M/115 Does his own thing… usually the wrong thing
Roberts L 28/M/113 Turf specialist… Astroturf maybe
Salvin B 32/M/114 Very consistent, turf rider… very consistent loser
Santana L 29/M/115 Loves to ride speed horses… no, loves to ride
while on speed
Santos C 22/M/112 Top gun, gets the max out of his mounts… new
all-rounder
Smith J 26/F/110 Top rider, she wants the title… good choice
dirt/steady
Stant T 34/M/120 Solid veteran, weight problem… struggling but
good on relax
Taylor L 30/M/115 Average rider, improves on turf… his days are
numbered
Velez W 23/M/116 Top 10, seems stronger this year… good turf
choice
Wallace R Jr 27/M/116 Decent on any type… not horses though
Wills T 19/M/110 Showing good form… alt. choice on steady run
