  • Newbie question

Recently started here and have a question about fitness. After training one of my horses, the meters are st88,sp100,end86,str90,fit72. What is the best way to get fitness back to 100?

    Thanks

    Welcome Buck.

It depends how many days you have been training it non-stop. The quickest way to get Fitness up is a 1 3/8mile long pony gallop but you will probably find that it will go to high 80's/low 90's first one, but Speed may plummet. If you have been training it non-stop for 5 days or more, I would give it a rest day, then the 1 3/8 mile lpg. Fitness will come up, Speed should be unaffected and the others should hit high 90's/100. Follow that with another 11F lpg which will peak its Fitness and hopefully Speed will behave itself and you should be ready to go.

    Hope this helps.

      Thunder-

Thanks for the advice- I had trained him 4 consecutve days then rested him one day(yesterday). I did a 11f lpg today and fitness went down to current level. It was 82.
