Training after a race..

Do any of you train your horse after a race? Any research been done on its effect?? I noticed you can train after a race and wondered if anyone of you do it?

I think we all just about do it. I have had no effect. on any of my horses.

It doesn't matter--five minutes before a race, five minutes after a race, or a week layoff. The only thing that matters is what the meters say at the time the horse runs the race.
