  • Sharp Edge

First filly I have bred since joining the game is Sharp Edge (Rail Surge x Gravity's Edge). Gave her a timed workout straight away and the results seem fairly pleasing. Given a steady workout carrying 118lb she ran the 6f in 1.09.88 with G. Gomez on top. Any thoughts from wiser heads would be appreciated, but I think she has something to give. Does it make any difference as to which track I work her at?

    Hiya

So....everyone sorta has their own way of doing things. I like to use Cal simply because there are more horses worked at Cal usually, and you can see how your horse's works compared by checking the listings next day. I also pay attention to the "splits" to see if the horse was speeding up or slowing down. This helps me get an idea what distance the horse will prefer.

Very pleased with her first start running 2nd beaten a hd in a $30,000 claimer--the winner had won 2 previously. Will have to learn to take her along slowly--4 previous starters all ran last but I think that may have something to do with backing them up too quickly.

Looks like a fairly decent runner.

Make sure you go through all of the equipment on the horse as you might find even more timewise with her.

        Good luck with her.

Not earth shattering but picks up her first win in a 3 horse maiden

              Congrats

I still remember my first win, too! If the site charged a penny to watch replays I would have gone broke that day.

Great to have you here. Looking forward to many more wins for you soon!

Very pleased with her today--maybe a bit better than a low level claimer.
